BCS in SharePoint 2010

     Hi SharePoint friends, I hope u all are enjoying with SharePoint 2010. The main feature in SharePoint 2010 is the “Business Connectivity Service” known as BCS in SharePoint 2010 and formerly known as BDC in SharePoint 2007. Let’s see something about BCS in this post.      It enables u to grab external data and integrate in to SharePoint list and also to office client applications. BCS allows us to create external components that helps us to integrate with SharePoint. We can build our own solutions and components. These integration can be used in search, workflows, Visual web parts and also in outlook. VS 2010 SharePoint Tools

            In SharePoint 2007 many developers use SharePoint extension to develop the solutions for SharePoint and many other developers write some class files referencing the SharePoint dll’s and deploying and many other developers use WSP builder to build the solution for SharePoint 2007.
